Tom Selleck-1-1024x1005With the 1997 Horizon Award, the Congressional Award in Washington DC honored me. The Horizon Award is a special recognition from the Joint Leadership of the United States Congress and the Congressional Award Board of Directors. The Horizon Award is given to people working in the private sector that have helped in enhancing opportunities for everyone Americans. It also honors those who have set extraordinary examples for young people through their achievements in their lives. Tom was a wonderful player, and was grateful to be as part of such an accomplished and experienced team, who were constantly practicing and playing with a lot of enthusiasm when his Magnum schedule was able to allow it. .... He was extremely patient with us all and we enjoyed the large crowds which replaced our usual few spouses and friends at the national tourney games. ".
