Alex Flanagan

She was a graduate of the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. Flanagan has been employed by The NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. For NBC Sports she is a reporter in the stands of some of the Notre Dame Football home matches as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan hosts a weekly recap of the games Madden 10 and Madden 11 along with Fran. Alex is a native of Sonoita, Arizona. Kevin Flanagan is the former University of Arizona Basketball player she was married to. The couple have two daughters as well as a son. Alex's dad owns two Arizona steakhouses, The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career in college, as an intern with KVOA-TV. Her first reporting stint began in sports in 1998. She worked for various networks that include NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. Also, Flanagan was an active Gamma Phi Beta sister. Flanagan's first job in TV was as a news anchor and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota following her graduation.
