Alice Englert
Alice Allegra Englert (born 15 June 1994) is an Australian actress, director, writer as well as a singer and songwriter. The most famous of her roles is her roles as Rosa in the documentary Ginger and Rosa Ginger & Rosa (2012) as well as Lena Duchannes in the film Beautiful Creatures Alice Allegra Englert was born in Sydney in June of 1994. She is being the daughter of New Zealand filmmaker Jane Campion and Australian filmmaker Colin Englert. She is the grandchild of the actress Edith Campion and theatre director Richard Campion. She grew up in Sydney as well as various other cities in which her parents' jobs brought them, stating, "I've spent half my life on planes. New Zealand is a place I love. It is the place where the creative, whimsical part of the family resided." She studied in Australia and New Zealand as well as New York City, Rome and London. When she was in England she went to her school, the Sibford School which is a Quaker School in Oxfordshire. The couple divorced when she was seven. She later quit the school in order to pursue a career as an actor
