Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Her most well-known role is the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. Her prior experience included working as an Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on both the US House and Senate. During her membership for the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and events in the Congress, such as negotiations to increase the federal debt limit as well as the super committee's discussion. Her work on general assignments has included reporting about The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. As the CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories and produced feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource members. In the past, she was a reporter for NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV.
